We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Supply Chain Operating Room Materials Manager (ORMM), you willlead, implement, measure, and direct supply chain activities within the operating room/surgical services. YouwillsupportOR operations through inventory management and fostering a collaborative environment between supply chain and the clinical surgical services team members. You willassistother stakeholders in promoting clinical integration withinsupplychain. In full OR programs, you work closely with the facility Supply Chain OR Internal Control Coordinator (ORICC), and the Supply Chain Division Director of OR (DDOR) on data integrity,accuracyand efficiency of the preference card process, supporting the Supply Chain clinical resources for margin improvement, and patient billing review and process integrity initiatives. What you will do in this role:Ensure items built in the Materials Management Information Systems areaccurateand complete.Preparetheschedule for the onsite OR Supply Chain Operations to meet clinical scheduling needs if applicable.Responsible for the daily Supply Chain Clinical Integration within the OR to include ordering and restocking or all Operating Room supplies.Responsible for optimization of replenishment processes for all OR inventory areas managed by Supply Chain.ManagetheTissue Tracker system to include vendor Certifications, Recalls and Quarterly Inventory verification.Managetheexpirationdates for all supplies in the Operating Room.Workwith Clinical Resource Director (CRD) and other key stakeholders on all OR Supply Cost Management projects.Serve as OR point of contact for sales representatives.Collaborateregularly with the facility Director of Surgical Services, Division Clinical Resource Director, the facilityCRD and SCD, corporate supply chain, and other stakeholders on OR initiatives.IffullOR Program is in place, you willmanagethe implementation, cleanup and optimization of the OR Meditech Supply Inventory dictionary and Supply Inventory on Physician Preference cards, when the OR Internal Control Coordinator is absent. Whatqualifications you will need: High School Diploma or GEDisrequired.Bachelor’s Degreeispreferred.Graduate from Surgical Technology Program and/or equivalent clinical trainingispreferred.Specific Operating Room/Surgical Services experienceispreferred. 3 Years leadership experience and/or AD program graduate preferredDemonstrated passion for building a clinically integrated supply chain HealthTrust Supply Chain is a critical part of HCA Healthcare’s strategy.
