The Role of Production ManagerWe seek a Production Manager with a passion for fashion design or streetwear, skilled in problem-solving, cross-departmental communication, and translating design notes for vendors. This role organizes and expedites production to ensure timely sample and collection delivery, collaborating closely with the Design and Operations Team to streamline the idea-to-production pipeline while upholding brand standards. The Production Manager oversees communication from concept to final product and is based in our El Monte office with the ability for hybrid work. Please include your resume and a portfolio link (if available) with your application.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Design Team to set deadlines, ensure comprehensive technical packages, and oversee production timelines.Manage daily communications with vendors on design, cost, and delivery issues.Establish time and action calendars, negotiate costs, and update inventory reports.Coordinate production operations, monitor sample and bulk approvals, and maintain line sheet production.Support seasonal concept research, fabric sourcing, and design execution with technical sketches and wash development.Facilitate team collaboration across departments and ensure workflow efficiency.Execute technical sketches for initial tech packs for proposed products or garments.Assist in the training of new members, lead production standards, and oversee personnel performance and garment quality.Ideal QualificationsWe encourage applicants with general experience and interest, even if all qualifications arent met. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing products, exploring new design techniques, thrives in team settings, and communicates effectively. They have a strong interest in the fashion industry, particularly in streetwear and menswear, and possess meticulous attention to detail.Passion for streetwear/menswear and alignment with brand identity.Fashion graduate or 1+ years with a similar brand in a production role.Creative and organized, with strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proficient in CADs/tech packs and fabric knowledge, especially soft woven and polyester.Strong communication, time management, and leadership abilities.Experience with international suppliers and deep knowledge of fabrics, fit, and function.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Adaptable with a proactive, can-do attitude.
