Seeking a Data Engineer with mastery in designing robust, scalable, and secure data solutions on Azure. This includes understanding Azure's data services ecosystem, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data bricks. The Azure Data Engineer must architect solutions that can handle the volume, velocity, and variety of data, ensuring performance and compliance. Seeking candidates with a strong grasp of cloud security principles and practices. Understanding Azure's security features, such as Azure Active Directory, network security groups, and encryption services, is essential.
Data Engineers must ensure that data solutions comply with industry regulations and company policies. The ability to build and maintain a data architecture that supports both real-time and batch processing will be a defining factor in the success of data-driven organizations.
Requirements
7+ years experience in role with:
Experience, knowledge, and exposure to various project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)Strong process orientation and analytical/problem solving skills including the ability to interpret and clarify technical issuesDemonstrated facilitation skills, written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills, and the ability to deliver clear, concise presentationsDemonstrated team spirit with strong adaptability, openness to feedback, and the ability to work cooperatively and creatively across an organizationDemonstrated strong leadership skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated experience working under tight deadlinesDemonstrated experience working independently in high-priority situationsDemonstrated understanding of business case justification methodology used to recommend process improvements or technology enhancementsDemonstrated excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage conflictMust be extremely organized and detail-oriented with ability to communicate with both business personnel and technical expertsUtility background preferred but not requiredITIL v3 or v4 is a plus
