The Opportunity This position works remotely in the Diagnostics Division. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. What You’ll Work On Primary Objective of Position Provides regional business support by conducting Solution demos, facilitating pricing discussions, and performing client-specific documents and updates. Responsible for driving the IT implementation for Abbott Diagnostics software solutions, delivering excellent technical professional service, providing expert application knowledge, and expanding ADD business by developing existing customer accounts in the healthcare, E-Health, and/or health insurance market. Build and increase sales revenue through market penetration and promotion of Operational and Clinical Care Solutions. Advocates the solutions to all levels in hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician's offices including MD's, CIO/IT staff, nurses, and laboratory staff, Insurance Companies, or E-Health Providers and Partners. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. Accountable and responsible for further developing the AlinIQ Solutions delivery approach and adapting it based on clients’ requests. Responsible for Landmark accounts, ensuring continuous engagement with clients and support value realization by liaising between AlinIQ Solutions commercial team and Digital Transformation team for value expansion opportunities. Major Accountabilities Actively engage in planning internally (Team) and externally (Projects and clients) and demonstrate client focus with a commitment to problem solving, providing quality and value-added services. Servicing Abbott clients across the US and promoting AlinIQ CDS and AlinIQ Solutions as an innovative premium solution in the US market. Work closely with ADD regional/local sales teams and Informatics Sales colleagues to develop and profitably grow new and existing customer accounts. Drive Pre-Sales and support the overall Sales process by assisting in the planning of activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured. Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to grow ADD share for Abbott’s AlinIQ Solutions. Display ability to effectively communicate through executive leadership. Assist in the planning of Business Development, Pre-Sales, and Sales activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured. Support local teams in performing software-related installation and configuration processes for Abbott’s Integrated Solutions. Assist in negotiating, orals, and manage contracts. Develop and implement customer-specific sales and project plans. Develop and deliver presentations. Achieve annual sales goals of AlinIQ Solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum 5 years of Pre-Sales, Sales, and/or Business Development Experience in the Hospital, E-Health, Outpatient Care, Diagnostics, and/or Insurance Market. Minimum 3 years of working experience in IT-Project Management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences, or medical technology is preferred. IT-Consulting experience. Understanding of IT technology within Hospital, Outpatient Care, E-Health, and Insurance Environment. Understanding of how technology drives value in healthcare is a must. Strong Diagnostics experience. Fluent in English and 1 additional language. * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
