Your Role
The Principal will perform complex level professional internal controls assessment work and consulting services. Work involves leading or conducting financial, operational and compliance projects; providing consulting services to the organization's management and staff; and providing training and coaching to business operation owners. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently under minimal supervision with considerable latitude and expectation for initiative and independent judgment.Your Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of full-time experience in auditing, business analysis, or program evaluation requiredCPA, CIA, or CISA certifications preferredExperience in healthcare industry, specifically Medi-Cal and Medicare preferredConsiderable knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles and preferred business practicesStrong understanding of internal controls and the ability to leverage such knowledge to make effective advisory recommendationsKnowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal AuditorsKnowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, and practicesKnowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and lawsSkill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusionsConsiderable skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlinesCommunicates the results of consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to mid-level and senior leadershipTeam player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $136,400.00 to $204,600.00 for California.Note : Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.#LI-LC1
