DescriptionWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational perfection through automation and engineering processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes, to deliver outstanding and highly available systems. You will work with the application development teams to understand infrastructure requirements, while promoting efficiency, scalability, security, and reliability throughout the software lifecycle. Your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure management will be crucial to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:Developing automation for common development and operational tasksDevelop reusable infrastructure as code librariesSupervising system performance, availability, and remediating as necessaryCollaborating with software, infrastructure, network and storage engineering teams on finding operationally balanced solutions to engineering problemsDesigning engineering platforms and tools that simplify the process of building, deploying, and operating applicationsMinimum Requirements4+ years of experience in a DevOps roleExperience in setting up infrastructure using one of the technologies such as Terraform and/or PulumiExperience with GitOps-based deployments enabling CI/CD using one of the technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub-Actions or similar systemsExperience in building CLI tools using one of listed programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaExperience in container orchestration such as Kubernetes or HelmPreferred QualificationsExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience in one of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef or PuppetExperience in maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systemsProficiency with operating applications in one of the public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)Experience in developing infrastructure and services in public cloud environments (AWS, or GCP)Strong proficiency with Helm or Kustomize for managing Kubernetes applications and configurations through GitOps practicesExpertise in developing reusable IAC (infrastructure as code) modules using technologies such as Terraform, AWS-CDK and/or PulumiProficiency with logging and observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or similarPassionate about operational excellence through proper automation and engineering processes using programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or other JVM languagesAnalytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearlyExcellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamworkEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
