Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a S ecretary

at their corporate office in St. Louis, Missouri. The primary responsibilities include:Acts as a central office liaison for remote staff

Maintains and updates online calendars for meetings, report deadlines, and travelProvides high volume telephone coverage by answering and directing callers for the organization's corporate office staffCoordinates travel arrangements; prepares and tracks expense reports for the supported staffCreates and maintains a variety of tracking reports by gathering information, verifying accuracy of content, and ensuring deadlines are metRoutes, logs, and maintains files of executed employment and facility agreements, as needed and assignedRoutes, logs, and maintains pay adjustment and manual check request formsChecks, renames files, distributes, and organizes fax files on the assigned fax serversCreates, routes, and follow up on expense reports for corporate staff and site employeesAssists with field staff payroll by collecting and forwarding timesheets to the Payroll Department, distributing checks and following up on any necessary corrections or adjustments, as needed and assignedOpens and distributes correspondence, as well as periodically preparing and editing correspondence, to include, but not limited to, mail, FedEx, and UPS shipmentsPerforms any additional tasks, as needed and assignedJob Requirements:The Position will have the following requirements:High school graduate or possess a GED certificatePossess at least three to five (3-5) years of administrative/secretarial experienceProficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation softwarePossess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlinesMust be able to exercise independent judgmentAbility to handle stressAbility to handle confidential dataAbility to adapt to changeExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written, with an emphasis in grammar)Strong commitment to customer serviceMust be procedure and detail oriented, utilize excellent follow up skills, and strive for 100% accuracySuperior organizational skillsFamiliarity with modern office equipment, e.g. facsimile, copier, etc.Company Overview:Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
