Head of Operational Excellence & Chief of Staff
to support our CEO and drive key initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and cross-functional alignment. This is a 100% Individual Contributor role and not a Management position. This dual-role position combines strategic program management with direct support to the CEO, making it ideal for someone looking to have a broad impact on the company's growth and success. You’ll be a trusted partner in building organizational clarity and efficiency, working closely with senior leaders to improve processes, enhance collaboration, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence:
Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize organizational efficiency, identify process improvements, and implement systems that drive results.Strategic Program Management:
Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to drive company-wide projects, ensuring they align with our long-term goals.Calendar & Meeting Coordination:
Manage the integrated company calendar, coordinate cross-departmental meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure thorough follow-ups.
(Note: This is not an EA role; the team already has an Executive Assistant on staff.)Process Improvement & Detail-Oriented Leadership:
Approach every process with meticulous attention to detail, taking "personal offense" to inefficiencies. Develop solutions to address bottlenecks and implement streamlined workflows.Executive Advisory & Data-Driven Insights:
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing data-backed insights, recommendations, and solutions to operational challenges.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
Enhance communication across teams, promoting transparency and seamless execution of company-wide initiatives.Delegation & Accountability:
Ensure senior managers understand and execute on key initiatives. Identify and suss out the ability to delegate effectively and follow through to ensure successful completion of tasks.Mentorship & Development:
Learn directly from the CEO and executive team, gaining experience for future leadership roles within the company or beyond.Ideal Background:5+ years in roles such as Product Management, Program Management, or Management Consulting, ideally with a management consulting, PE, or high-growth startup background (seed to Series C).Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to deadlines, efficiency, and managing multiple projects and priorities.Proven experience in operational efficiency, process improvement, and program/project management.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinker who can align daily operations with broader company goals, and proactive in resolving inefficiencies.Proficiency in AI tools and automation to drive operational innovation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, especially a seed to Series C SaaS startupFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies.MBA or advanced degree in business, operations, or a related field is a plus.Why You’ll Love This Role:Mentorship and Exposure:
