Responsibilities & Expectations:Thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and adapt to frequent transitions in technologies and teamsPartner with product owners in the HR community to refine requirements and groom Agile storiesGenerate innovative ideas, develop proof-of-concepts, and rapid prototypes alongside other engineers utilizing pair programming and mobbing techniquesLeverage deep incentive compensation Modeling expertise to lead Line of Business incentives automation into production environments and manage ongoing on-call production support after go-liveApply problem-solving techniques to lead application design discussions and resolve technical issues while mentoring junior developersImplement and document scalable, highly available, and resilient system solutions based on distributed architecture principlesLeverage deep application and platform expertise to lead the planning and deployment of Cloud solutions into production environments and manage ongoing on-call production support after go-liveDesign and develop automation workflows, performing unit tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assessing the overall quality of delivered componentsCapital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree At least 6 years of experience in Incentive Compensation Modeling with Varicent (Formerly IBM Cognos ICM)At least 5 years of experience in Software Development with object-oriented programming (Java, Python or Javascript)At least 1 year of experience with Agile development Preferred Qualifications:Master''s degree10+ years of experience in software development with object-oriented programming 10+ years of experience with source control methodologies 10+ years of experience in Incentive Compensation Modeling with Varicent (Formerly IBM Cognos ICM)3+ years of experience working in Agile environment utilizing Continuous Integration & Delivery Pipelines 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases1+ years of experience working with Workday and Salesforce Platform integrationsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.No agencies please.
