Amentum is currently seeking a

Credentialing and Authentication Specialist

to support an IT Managed Services program in Livermore, CA. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

You will be a part of a team that

As a member of the team, you will:Manage issuance, deactivation, and support for multiple forms of authentication credentials including encryption and multi-factor authentication methods.Facilitate configuration of multi-factor authentication forms to include Smartcard and Yubikey credential configuration.Support and manage the walk-in process for new and existing forms of multi-factor authentication issuance and transfers.Issue and support authentication tokens, focusing on entity accounts and elevated certification.Handle new entity account creation, including ownership assignment and automated setup verification.Manage entity account updates such as ownership changes, shared user additions/removals, and display name changes.Administer entity authentication credential issuance for applicable networks.Oversee account maintenance and management, including breakdown of old/unusable cards.Manage password email entity tasks, including ticket review, prioritization, resolution, and technical troubleshooting.Provide support for enterprise IT support teams and customer questions via hotline and various forms of telecommunications technologies, including paging notifications.Manage the New Employee Orientation credential creation and shipping processes for pre-employees, contractors, and interns.Address mission-critical requests for classified credentials including Kerberos, Entrust, RSA SecurID, PKI Token Certificate Mapping, and secure communication delivery (fax and email).Contribute to automation and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Act as a liaison for cyber-related matters and support ongoing maintenance tasks.Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a High School degree/GED and 3 years of experience OR equivalent.Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.Experience with shared file systems, web applications, and custom applicationsDOE Q clearance.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a team environment with a diverse approach to problem solvingExperience working on different networks and managing multiple credentialsFamiliarity with network protocols and network management technologies. Skill applying software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate troubleshooting processes and conduct appropriate upgradesAbility to maintain accurate recordsExperience with effective customer communication, such as vendors, and database administratorsKnowledge of operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and MacOSAbility to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issuesAbility to define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platformsAbility to define technical standards and functionality tests, and to develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guidesAbility to model behaviors that reflect organizational core valuesAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
