NG- Military Internship Program Description As one of the largest global security companies in the world, Northrop Grumman is proud to help our nation's military personnel make the transition to civilian careers. Approximately 1/4th of Northrop Grumman's 100,000 employees self-identify as veterans, and more than 1,600 are reservists.

The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. The NG-MIP program is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. The Northrop Grumman Military internship Program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members Responsibilities For This Internship Position Are Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman - Military Internship Program (DoD SkillBridge) utilizing the DoDI guidance for SkillBridge. During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40 hours per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program.

Goals - Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC.

Objectives

- Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly-trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission "Defining Possible" on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.

DoD SkillBridge Eligibility

Sr. Principal

Industrial Security Analyst

to join our Executive Protection (EP) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical work, protective intelligence, and open-source intelligence (OSINT). This role requires establishing and maintaining a local network with intelligence elements of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) industry partners and providing comprehensive support to the EP team using data mining and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a network with intelligence elements of DIB partners in the Washington, D.C. area.Facilitate information sharing and collaboration among DIB partners to enhance protective intelligence capabilities.Assist with protective intelligence assessments to identify potential threats to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).Utilize OSINT and other intelligence sources to gather relevant data and provide actionable insights.Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and potential security risks.Assist the EP team with the use of data mining and analytical tools.Provide real-time analytical support to the EP team for incident response and investigations.Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents of concern, including voicemails, emails, unwanted mail, and other communications.Track and document incidents for follow-up investigations and trend analysis.Ensure all documentation is secure, confidential, and readily accessible for authorized personnel.Work closely with the EP team to provide comprehensive security support for the ELT.Participate in regular briefings and meetings to update the team on current threat levels and intelligence findings.Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures based on intelligence assessments.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; a High School diploma and 14+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment.Proven experience in analytical roles within the DIB, with a focus on protective intelligence.Extensive experience with OSINT and the use of analytical and data mining tools.Prior experience in establishing networks and collaborative relationships with intelligence elements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Proficiency in data mining techniques and analytical software.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, in a relevant field such as Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related discipline.Extensive experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering and analysis.Demonstrated ability to synthesize OSINT data into actionable intelligence reports.Experience in visualizing complex data sets to identify and track threat networks.Salary Range:

$109,900 - $164,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
