SALES INSIGHTS ANALYST (JLB division)The Team:
We bring data-driven insights that fuel high-level partnership and strategies across our clients and Target. We are trusted strategic partners and category experts, providing proactive analytics and actionable recommendations that help support our client's goals and drive growth at Target.The Role:
This position will require you to leverage your interpersonal, communication, organization and analytical skills. We are seeking a talented individual who is analytically driven and a self-starter. You bring experience with POS and syndicated data systems and will own generating reporting and become a master in providing item and category level performance analysis based on Target sales, consumer and market data.What You'll Do with the assistance of an Insights Lead:
Provide Target and marketplace insights through syndicated IRI reportingAssist Sales and Insights team during Target's line review processCollaborate with peers and clients on a multitude of ad hoc and deep dive requestsLeverage analytical skills to collect and analyze data from a variety of different categories and resources with a high sense of accuracyProvide category and marketplace insights through retail auditsWhat You'll Bring:1-2 years of hand-on experience in synthesizing raw data from POS and syndicated databases such as Circana or Nielsen to develop actionable insightsStrong analytical skills (ex. collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large datasets with accuracy)Strong presentation skills (ex. ability to tell insightful stories through data visualizations) Proactive and committed to delivering accurate results in a fast paced work environmentExcellent interpersonal skills required for working on a high-performance teamProven ability to complete projects/tasks within assigned timeframeAbility to interface with multiple levels of an organizationMastery in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointHands-on experience working on a Target accountBachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing (preferred)About JLB:
