Serves as the manager of business development efforts. Serve as an ambassador for clinical research to the community.Qualifications:Required:Demonstrated experience and proven track record of being self-motivated and results driven in business development or sales roles within the clinical trial or pharmaceutical industryIn depth knowledge of the clinical trial process, including study design, regulations, and industry best practicesStrong understanding of the drug development lifecycle, including pre-clinical research, clinical development, and industry best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients effectivelyDemonstrated ability to think strategically, identify business opportunities, and develop effective sales strategiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify client needs, and propose innovative solutionsAbility to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Clinical Research Management software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft office suiteWilling to travel as needed to meet with clients and to attend industry eventsDemonstrated experience conducting administrative, research, and organizational analysis, including data-gathering from various sources, creating and compiling databases, creating reports, and formulating solutionsDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to develop and maintain professional and effective working relationships with school faculty and staff, students, campus administrators, and professionals in outside agencies and corporationsAbility to work independently, using decision-making skills to plan and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment full of competing requestsWork effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, and the public, including persons with varying levels of authority and with individuals from diverse cultures and working environmentsAbility to maintain confidentiality appropriatelyAnalyze information, problems, situations, practices and procedures to define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns or factors, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and recognize application of alternativesSkill to extract information and accurately summarize data in report format for planning, monitoring, and projectingAnalytical skills to problem-solve in non-standard, urgent, conflicting, and/or unexpected circumstancesAbility to interpret and apply administrative policies and procedures to daily operationsAbility to create visual and graphical material to reports and presentationsStrong ability in written and oral communicationBachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.At least 5 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles in business management for clinical research
