($0.7B) is a niche player in harsh environment connectors and control components in critical applications for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets.ITT is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut with over 10,000 employees in more than 35 countries and sales in approximately 125 countries.Position Summary:This role is responsible for implementing best practices for converting sales forecast into material planning, capacity planning, & scheduling to improve customer satisfaction, lead times, material & labor availability, profitability, and working capital. To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for data analysis, process improvement, system optimization, and a healthy dissatisfaction for status quo. The ideal candidate is proactive, results oriented and experienced in lean tools and processes and a keen interest in developing people, processes and systems. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role driving our near-term and long-term supply chain strategic objectives.Essential Responsibilities:Responsible for orchestrating all material & capacity planning activities to satisfy product forecasts, new product introductions, & aftermarket sales.Use data driven analysis, mathematical modelling and sound inventory management practices to determine optimal inventory & human resources.Develop and maintain supply chain and operational systems to improve planning efficiencyAnalyze end-to-end supply chain requirements to ensure customer delivery needs are met.Own the deliverables, cadence and action items for long term supply chain & capacity planning processes.Implement flexible material processes & Systems to provide shortage risk visibility, safety stock levels, & operational efficiency.Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Science or Business with 10+ years of related experience is preferred; Equivalent education and experience is required.5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role is requiredWorking knowledge of Lean practices; Daily Management, Standard Work, Kaizen, Heijunka, Poka-yoke, and GembaSystematic with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to critically assess situations and logically create a framework with incomplete informationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to persist through challenges and solve problemsAbility to positively influence the actions of colleagues outside the direct reporting structureExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadershipAble to develop solutions to complex problems which require an in-depth degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovativenessAbility to mentor, lead, and influence teamsThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Equal Pay Act Range:Annual Salary Range is $124,800 to $186,800, plus benefits and incentive plans.
