Our client is a media company. They seek a Director of People and Culture to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Work to implement strategies to attract, hire, and retain a dynamic and diverse workforce
Design and support ongoing education, training, and employee engagement programs
Oversee the company’s engagement survey and proactively analyze data and trends
Mange college internship program and the ideation academy, an early career fellowship program
Identify mission-focused partnerships and cultivate a people-centric work environment
Work across the organization to promote inclusion and ensure regular communication
Handle complex and sensitive investigations to address employee issues and complaints
Recommend employee corrective actions and prepare performance improvement plans
Lead Bias Incident Reporting Protocol; track and report incidents every month
Collaborate with the HRIS team to develop an employee experience dashboard
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field
7+ years of People/Culture/HR experience
Experience with employee engagement, relations, and conflict resolution
Understanding of inclusion, diversity, belonging, and/or equity principles
Experience in the media and content production industry is preferred
Problem solver with the ability to measure progress against goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skilled in Excel (Pivots)
