Purpose :
The Senior Supply & Capacity Analyst (SIOP) is responsible for analyzing and planning the company's production capacity to meet forecasted demand. This role involves working closely with production, engineering, commercial, and supply chain teams to identify capacity requirements, optimize resource utilization, and support the overall SIOP process. The SIOP Capacity Planner aims to ensure that production capabilities align with customer demand while minimizing costs and maintaining high service levels. This role will support planning for many different product lines across 5 different manufacturing sites.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain global capacity model and capacity plans that ensure alignment with demand forecasts production capabilities, while making sure all demand (production, engineering, and repairs) is represented. Identify and solve potential capacity constraints and bottlenecks while proactively responding to sales and central demand planners with unexpected changes to capacity. Support the SIOP process by providing accurate and timely capacity plans and insights and contribute to the development of integrated plans. Active involvement in strategic planning and AOP cycle to ensure future tooling and head counts needs are well defined, and that costs are budgeted. Work closely with sales, marketing, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of capacity plans with overall business goals. Analyze data, conduct scenario planning and develop contingency plans related to production capacity, utilization, and efficiency. Prepare and present capacity planning reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and action plans. Identify and implement best practices and process improvements in capacity planning and resource utilization.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capacity planning, production planning, supply chain management, or a related field. Experience in probe cards, semiconductor, or custom products manufacturing is a plus. Experience with capacity planning software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel). High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and capacity planning. Ability to develop and implement strategies that align with business objectives and improve capacity planning processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management skills.
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $128,600 and $168,735. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
