Company Description: Our mission is to provide comprehensive care for many degenerative and injury related conditions that affect the spine. Our comprehensive approach means that patients receive as much conservative care as possible and only after patients have exhausted all conservative measures are they considered for surgery. Our advanced surgical techniques are minimally invasive and are provided in an out-patient boutique style AAAASF credentialed ASC where caring for our patients is our main priority.
We are currently seeking a Fellowship Trained Physiatrist (PM&R) or Anesthesiologist Must be Board Certified, with a minimum of Five years of experience performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. An energetic go-getter who exhumes a patient centered commitment to excellence.
Physiatrist Responsibilities and Qualifications will include but are not limited to:Clinical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and spine conditions. Provide medical patient care by conducting comprehensive physical exams, assessing the patients health status, mobility, strength, cognition. Develop plans of care for immediate and long-term rehabilitation in order to restore their maximum level of function and movement.Order and interpret results of laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging processesProvide interventional pain procedures including but not limited to: Cervical, thoracic and lumbar epidural injections, nerve blocks, discograms, sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, aspiration trigger point injections, ultrasound and/or fluoroscope, PRP, Stem Cell, Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials, Medial Branch Blocks, nerve conduction velocity and electromyography studies, ability to perform EMG/NCV extremely helpful but not required.Educate patients on their condition, progress, maintenance and preventionComplete all necessary administrative work associated with patient careEffective and positive communication with medical team members and other health professionalsWork closely with our medical team of experts to facilitate patient careAbility to analyze situations and thrive in a fast-growing, busy environmentSkills in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques necessary to provide ongoing patient careGreat interpersonal skills, reliable and a self-motivator Physiatrist Education/Experience:Medical degree from an accredited Medical School Program RequiredCurrent State of Georgia License RequiredMedical Board Certification RequiredMD or DO RequiredFive years experience in outpatient Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and/or PM&R Preferred We offer a highly competitive compensation package with Bonus Performance Incentives, Company Paid benefit package to include Health, Dental, Vision, CME, 4 weeks of paid PDO, company matched 401k, paid medical malpractice insurance.
