There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:Ability to manage projects using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies by facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other ceremonies as neededManage multiple squads that span multiple lines of businessCollaborate with product owners and development team to deliver timely, high-quality solutionsDrive project delivery to meet business objectives while maintaining project delivery qualityCreate and manage sprint plans, release plans, communication plans, budget (planned, actual and forecast), and risk management planAbility to coach and influence development teams by reviewing current practices and make recommendations for improvementsUnderstand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needsLeverage established practices, templates, policies, and tools to expand and mature these capabilities for the organizationProvides various administrative services necessary to keep the team on track: status reporting, budget and forecast management, and resource planningStrong attention to detail in planning the intricacies of projects and in making sure project dependencies, conflicts, and issues are resolved in a manner maximizing the value delivered to the businessSupervisory/ Budgetary/ External Communication ResponsibilityManages highly matrixed teams, providing structure and environment of accountability to keep teams focused on achieving agreed objectivesEngage with vendors, external consultants as the project activity demandsSecondary FunctionsBasic understanding of financial management principles as it relates to project management and delivery of a business case (budget vs. earned progress, capital vs. expense, etc.)Work with the business, IT stakeholders, and portfolio managers to develop the vision of the product roadmap and document the plansDevelops communication strategies and plans to ensure organizational awareness and adoption of end stateServes as subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, or documentation).Strong facilitation and collaboration skills to effectively conduct necessary Agile ceremoniesStrong project delivery skills - accurate planning, delivers to milestone dates, manages resources effectively, communicates status effectively, manages risks, and can juggle multiple activities at once to accomplish goals.Experience with product development projects, technical development lifecycles, and enterprise-wide implementations.Demonstrated experience delivering results with various sizes of business impacts, development complexity & durations.Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization - adapts to rapidly changing priorities. Strong technical aptitude - past experience developing or configuring information systems.Able to work effectively and build relationships with employees at all levels. Ability to establish new processes and systems. Able to coordinate and motivate cross functional team members not under his/her direct supervision.Able to manage multiple tasks at once, recognizing interdependencies & prioritizing appropriatelySelf-motivated and comfort leading a self-managed team

Preferred skills and experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of IT work experience, including 5 years managing products in an Agile environmentPrior experience with Agile, Kanban, and other applicable project management methodologiesPrior experience coaching development teams improving Agile adoptionPrior experience with projects in multiple technologies and functionsStrong knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniquesExperience collaborating with others in IT management roles to deliver shared results.
