Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is looking for a
Senior MDS Architecture Assessment Engineer
to join our team! In this role you will get to conduct and present analyses that will shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead architecture analysis tasks, delegating analysis tasks and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to the customer.
Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities as well as develop potential architecture-level system mitigations and capability evolution.
Support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD's High Performance Computing (HPC) system.
Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and provide reviews of analysis products.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
MS degree in a STEM Field and 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related project or other complex, large DoD program or project.
Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Experience with MATLAB coding.
Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Experience with M&S application to defense architectures, HPC experience, Model-Based System Engineering experience.
Experience with LINUX and BMD Benchmark.
Specialized MDS analysis experience in threat characterization, RF sensing/signatures, or electro-optical/Infrared sensing signatures.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret
