The Business Analyst will play a critical role in interpreting current business needs, facilitating the generation of new ideas, developing and implementing solutions, and testing for functionality.This position will be instrumental in establishing the technical vision and analyzing tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: will work with USG customers to research, write, edit and proofread content materials.Content Management: will work with USG customers to manage content lifecycle, including publishing, optimization and updatesContent Quality: work with USG customer to ensure content is relevant, accessible and posted in a user-friendly formatContent technical development: work with team to oversee the technical development and implementation of templates for SOPs, How-To-Guides, Instructions, etc.Identify, define and document information technology needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of systems access with the assistance of leadership team and staffInfluence and manage requirements using activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, flowcharts, document analysis, surveys, workflow analysis, etc.Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trendsPerform daily, weekly and/or monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reportsGather information from multiple sources and critically evaluate it, reconcile conflicts, and disseminate high-level information into detailsDeliver work products throughout the project life cycleConfer with project managers to define concepts and use enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systemsCommunicate and collaborate proactively with internal and external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirementsParticipate in user acceptance testing and undertake the functionality testing of new system/sDevelop training curriculums and conduct formal training sessionsDevelop and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specificationsAct as a team lead on designated projects or assignments and provide work direction to one or more technical or administrative staffRequirements :
Top Secret Clearance with SCI EligibilityStrong applied knowledge of platform services and a basic understanding of DevOps practicesAt least five (3) years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree may be used towards experience)Ability to problem solve and think criticallyAttention to detail, good communication skills, good project management skillsExcellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skillsPreferred:
Military and/or government experience a plusBusiness Management Professional (BMP) Certification a plusExperience with ServiceNow a plusExperience with SharePoint a plusAgile/Scrum Practitioner certifications a plusITIL certification a plusCertifications in CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security +At least four (4) years of government contracting or equivalent experienceBachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or another scientific or technical disciplineLocations:
This position will be expected to perform duties at any customer facilities within Colorado Springs.
Rate:
$80K-$95K
