Terminal Manager - Chattanooga, TNPosition Summary Manages the distribution of bulk cryogenicproducts to ensure a safety first, customer focused operation at the leastcost. Establishes and controls standards of preventative maintenance, equipmentrepair and replacement. Manages bulk distribution personnel located within theregional area of responsibility. Represents regional interests with theDivisions Transportation and Logistics team, and implements Company anddivisional initiatives at the regional level.
Position Accountabilities
1. Drive safety through implementation of national andregional safety programs and initiatives. Champion safety and compliance in theregion.
2. Conduct accident and injury investigations.
3. Train and provide qualified drivers and resources to meetdaily schedule requirements.
4. Manage the hours of service for all drivers and ensurecompliance with DOT regulations.
5. Improve the overall profitability of the organizationthrough reduction in cost to deliver.
6. Manage maintenance programs for distribution vehicles andequipment.
7. Monitor and manage cost to maintain an effectiveoperation against budget.
8. Administration management to include, payroll andcustomer billing.
9. Work with and support area sales and production efforts.
Qualifications
1. Must have a strong coaching and developing skills
2. Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA and hazardous material regulations
3. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis onOutlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
4. Ability to communicate effectively
Required Experience:
1. College degree preferred
2. Cryogenic distribution experience a plus
