Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead the commercial launch of our line of ODRescue™ products. The key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential customers. This position will play a critical role in creating product awareness and expanding market reach through various customer segments and channel distribution partners, including online resellers, major retail, hospitality and entertainment, transportation, and government. This position will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure that our products reach those most in need, while driving revenue growth and brand recognition.

This role is ideal for a business development professional who is skilled in sales and marketing and interested in developing solutions to improve public health.

Essential Functions and DutiesDevelop, implement, and revise a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to launch ODRescue products into diverse distribution channels.Identify sales opportunities, conduct sales presentations, and ensure that sales efforts are aligned with the company's overall business development goals.Lead and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing by implementing sales and marketing strategies tailored to the distribution channel and customer segment.Execute strategies to build brand recognition and trust in ODRescue products. Work with marketing resources to develop messaging, campaigns, sales presentations, and materials that position ODRescue as the leading category product line.Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and other similar events to showcase ODRescue products, network with potential partners, and explore new business development opportunities.Track sales activities and pipeline status in company CRM and keep current by updating account information. Provide regular customer and prospect reports.Partner with operational support teams, including Product Development, Purchasing, Assembly, and Distribution, to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth product launch.Stay current with opioid settlement disbursements, relevant industry trends, and competitors initiatives.Other

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.MBA or advanced degree preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of business development, sales, or marketing experience with a track record of successfully launching and distributing products across multiple channels.Preferred Experience:
Sales experience producing revenue growth through direct sales, partnerships, and distributor networks.Experience in brand development and creating brand recognition.Sales and marketing experience with opioid abatement products, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.Required Skills:
Ability to work independently, highly motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve success.Advanced negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.Expertise in managing complex customer relationships, including resolving conflicts, managing expectations, and building long-term partnerships.Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.Ability to formulate concepts and articulate complex issues to various audiences.Strong ability to analyze market data and performance metrics to identify trends and make informed business decisions.Capable of capturing detailed customer requirements and communicating with support teams.Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with MS Excel or MS Access and the ability to work with large data sets to extract reports and insights.Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and presentation development.Salesforce CRM software proficiency.
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel regularly. Working conditions include normal office setting.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
