You will be trained on how to run the day to day operations of the largest regional airline. You, along with the rest of the team, will be assisting millions of passengers to arrive at their destination safely and on-time.

Responsible for schedule integrity and daily operation of SkyWest Airlines flights to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and consideration of economic factorsCancels and delays flights, reflows crews and aircraft as necessary to achieve a high level of efficiency, economics, and passenger convenienceMaintains a constant awareness of weather, air traffic control, and other factors impacting flights in their region of operationCommunicates with the appropriate dispatcher regarding changes that affect the release of any flightCommunicates with flight crew and station personnel regarding changes to aircraft assignmentDevelops contingency and recovery plans during irregular operationsMinimum Requirements
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shift work with possible early morning and/or late night shiftsGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentFAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, FAA Pilots License, or experience in an aviation related field preferredSalary range $56,160-$74,880/per year6 months SkyWest OCC experience highly preferredMust be able to read, interpret, and apply aviation weather to the operation
Physical and Other Requirements
Training for those selected for this position will begin in mid November 2024.
