1099 Contract Product Owner Key Responsibilities:Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our lending platformsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather high-level and detailed product requirements documentsCreate and manage the product backlog, ensuring it's always up-to-date and properly prioritizedCollaborate with the team(s) to align priorities with overall strategyWrite clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for development teamsWork closely with Scrum teams to plan sprints and deliver high-quality product incrementsConduct regular product demos and gather feedback from stakeholders and usersAnalyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform product decisionsMonitor and report on key product metrics and KPIsManage vendor relationships, ensuring our needs are met and future vision is planned for while managing costsUnderstand and articulate the product vision internally and externallyRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environmentStrong understanding of Agile methodologiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProven track record of delivering successful web-based software productsExperience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)Ability to understand and translate complex technical conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in writing user stories and creating wireframesBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent industry experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience in the fintech or lending industryFamiliarity with call center operationsSoftware development or design experienceKnowledge of data analytics and business intelligence toolsExperience with user research and usability testingCertification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, PSM)Key Skills:Leadership and ability to drive initiatives through the organizationVendor management experienceProficiency in scoping and prioritization of tasksUnderstanding of software engineering processesUser experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design appreciationProactive problem-solving approachAdaptability to rapid changes in an Agile environment
