JOB SUMMARY: The Event Incident Report Writer is responsible for supporting the Venue Operations Department as it relates to all events occurring at Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium. Essential functions of the position include, but not limited to: Investigate complaints from guests, employees, contractors, and other individuals on Texas Rangers properties during events. Responding to incidents from event staff and guests Working with staff members to write thorough and complete reports relating to incidents. Collect witness statements from both event staff and guests. Document information from incident scenes. Document photographs and video as it pertains to incidents that require reports. Attend event staff supervisor briefing before major events. Assist in providing a safe environment for event operations. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years of age. Must be willing to work various schedules, to include days, evenings, nights for event operations. Must possess effective computer and report writing skills. Must possess effective verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to follow complex instructions and manage multiple tasks. Must possess the ability to work in a team setting and work alone with little direct oversight. Must possess good sound judgement, be objective, be dependable, be in control of emotions, be customer service oriented, be a person of integrity and be professional while carrying out duties. Must be able to perform one or more to the following activities while performing job tasks related to the position: walk, stand, climb stairs, climb a ladder, lift 30 pounds, and other physical activities associated with the position. Experience with 24/7 incident management software is a plus.
