Under the direct supervision of the Personnel Supervisor I, the Personnel Specialist performs a variety of personnel/payroll functions. These duties include processing employee appointments, separations, transfers and promotions; posting employee attendance on the California Leave Accounting System; requesting various pays, and processing NDI/FMLA/CTB paperwork/donations.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

California Medical Facility (CMF), located in a unique spot in Vacaville, CA. Unique as in being surrounded by many areas for family fun, exercise, touristy adventures and more. Approximately 35 miles east of downtown Sacramento, approximately 53 miles west of Pier 39 in San Francisco, and if you want to meet in the middle you can swing by Napa which is approximately 30 miles west.
When entering the grounds you will see the beautiful green mountains from Pena Adobe which is only a ten-minute drive from CMF and a great place to play disc golf, go hiking, archery, take family pictures, have a picnic and much more. Also located nearby are the Vacaville Outlets for all your shopping needs.
