Are you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Consulting? You will work with clients in the Financial Services industry as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career.

How you will contribute:
Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial dataParticipating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managersPerforming Automated Clearing House audits for financial services clientsCompleting internal audit testing of operational areasPerforming walk through testing of internal control processesHelping to draft internal audit reportsMaintaining confidentiality of firm and customer information, without exception, internally and externally at all timesAdhering to firm policies and procedures governing the safety and security of all firm employees, property, and assetsComplying with all related state and federal laws and regulations, and firm policies and procedures applicable to the positionWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
Effective time management, planning and organizational skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyProblem-solving attitudeWillingness to take initiativeClose attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and against deadlinesAbility to travel up to 20%Strong business acumenMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting requiredApplicants for this position must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state in which your office will be locatedSolid technical accounting knowledgeProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:
Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
