Job Description
The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery. In this role, the Order Builder will work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team of dedicated individuals to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucksManually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotationUse appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locationsAdhere procedures relating to product age, quality, and safetyResponsible for meeting productivity requirementsPerform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouseJob Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferredMinimum 6 months of general work experience requiredPrior warehouse experience preferredExperience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferredMust have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reachMust have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of timeMust have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistanceMust have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordinationBenefits & Perks:
