POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director, ETRM Applications reports to the Senior Director of IT Applications and PMO. Responsible for overseeing the supporting structure of the ETRM application landscape including Endur, Zema, Veson IMOS, and other supporting applications and interfaces. The ETRM IT Director is expected to maintain close relationships with the business users; Worldwide Trading, Commercial Structuring, Commodities Operations, Tax, Treasury, Front Office Deal Capture, Scheduling, Position Management and Reporting, Middle Office PNL, Credit and Risk Management, Back Office Commodity Accounting, and Internal Compliance to understand business priorities, challenges, project roadmaps and strategies. The ETRM Applications Director will provide direction and leadership to a global team of IT Managers, Advisors, Analysts and Developers, On and Offshore, to deliver effective Global solutions supporting Cheniere business.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Management responsibilities:Partner with the Global LNG Business ensuring solutions are aligned with the Global IT standards, where processes and solution designs are developed to maximize commonality and efficiency across all regionsProvide project scoping, requirements, direction and oversight for the development and implementation of Global solutionsSuccessfully lead cross-functional collaboration, effectively articulating business prioritization, facilitating an open dialogue to achieve consensus and alignmentProvide Business, IT Executive Management and PMO updates on ongoing/upcoming projects from resource planning, finance, and risks perspective. Coordinate with the PMO to assist in defining business requirements and consult with the technical team to implement solutionsOversee the delivery plans for larger initiatives, including timelines and detailed tasks, to deliver the necessary solutionsCoordinate locally and globally with all stakeholders to ensure comprehensive solutions that address the global business needs.Vendor, Financial and Resource management, and financial planningDevelop and coaching of ETRM team, to aid in reducing keyman dependencies and provide areas for growthPartner with other IT teams, ensuring ETRM technical landscape stays up to date and meets the performance needs of the BusinessProvide leadership and coordination to enable the ETRM team to deliver quality solutions in a timely and effective mannerManage all aspects of Disaster Recovery (DR), consistently ensuring preparedness and minimizing downtime through proactive strategy developmentCustomer Service oversight:

Business facing service desk, ensuring timely and effective resolution of business-related issues and inquiresIncident Management by coordinating with teams ensuring proper escalation and resolution of incidentsManagement and execution of testing for system enhancements, and coordination of release to minimize the impact to business operationsOwn, manage and monitor operational IT processes, including change and problem management, and implement improvements as neededBusiness support prioritization, ensuring alignment between business priorities and IT resourcesGenerate and distribute production reports to stakeholders on a regular basisControls and Governance:

Develop and enforce internal controls and governance policies as they relate to the production environmentDevelop and enforce security controls and policies as they relate to the production environmentDevelop and enforce change management controls and release management processEnsure monthly production reporting and KPIs are recorded properlyPartner with Global IT managers to develop and maintain common global production support processesSet example through demonstration of behaviors consistent with the company's core values, comply with the Cheniere Code of Business Conduct & Ethics and all Company policiesTechnical Delivery oversight:

Adhere/enforce our documented software development methodologies; includes oversight of code reviews, testing, procedures, and release managementCapacity and resiliency planning and remediation, working closely with IT teams and business, addressing capacity issues, and implementing measures to improve system resilienceDirect the delivery of system fixes and small enhancements, partnering with stakeholders on prioritization and implementing changes to ensure timely and successful deliveryEnsure production and performance monitoring, maintaining monitoring tools to track system performance and identifying and potential issues; alert notification, analyze data, and implementing solutions to optimize system performanceTeam Management:

Mentor, coach, and develop team members to advance skills and knowledge in their respective rolesEnsure team members are following global support processes and procedures to provide efficient and effective customer supportEnable team members to be productive, by providing necessary support resources and support, ensuring they have appropriate business competence required to excel in their rolesImplement performance management strategies to track team performance, provide feedback, and support employee developmentLead the hiring and contingent worker acquisition aligned to approved business demandRegular travel to Cheniere remote office for business alignment and guidance to IT team, ensuring business goals and objectives are properly alignedKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge:

Advanced knowledge and understanding of management of Energy trading and risk management concepts is a necessity. This includes understanding the background in a global operating company environment with the ability to identify resource needs and work with vendors to obtain resources as needed and manage vendor relationships in London and Houston. Knowledge of Natural Gas, LNG, and financial trading practices, including storage and transportation of LNGImplementation and enforcement of change control procedures to ensure proper documentation, testing and approval of changes to production environmentsManaging the release process, including scheduling, communication and risk assessmentCompile and analyze data to create monthly production reporting, reviewing with stakeholders to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiencyMonitor key KPIs and provide insights on trends and areas for improvementsIdentify and prioritize strategic initiatives based on business goals and objectives, continuously monitoring and updating to adapt to changing business needs and external factorsDevelop, implement, and manage business continuity plans to mitigate risks to ensure operational resilienceSkills:

Responsible for actively participating in implementation of the Endur Application.Functional and analytical abilities with previous experience supporting full implementations or upgradesAbility to lead with business/user community to determine functional or technical requirements and to lead custom reporting strategy.Liaise with the different business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution coordination.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in IT or related fieldExperience:

Minimum ten (10) years recent experience managing and supporting ETRM Applications/Endur commodity delivery teamsDIRECT REPORTS

US and UK Development, BA Manager, and Technical Advisor

FREEDOM TO ACT

Ability to multi-task and function in a highly dynamic atmosphere; must exercise discretion independently

WORK CONDITIONS

Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from othersOccasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.Periodically travel as business requiresSubject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
