Defensive Cyber Technology Sensing Analyst III
to join our team in Glen Burnie, Maryland or Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supports the Cyber Innovation Lead in collecting and distributing knowledge for the team in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO)Technologies includeWork with program partners, academia, and DoD and IC research entities to keep updated on the latest advances in the DCO fieldWork with the TDL and Mission Engagement Leads to keep informed on the Mission Partner DCO needsAssist the Cyber Innovation KP and Cyber Operations Lead KP in market research, academic outreach, and venture capital, private equity, and industry engagementAssess the utility of proposed innovation technologies at a deep technology level; help document the innovations in the knowledge base; and assist the transition into further development and operationsPartner with Business Development/Growth Teams on potential new workAlternate between on-contract efforts and innovation search as necessarySupport and mentor program managers and engineers attempting to implement new technologyBasic Qualifications:
Bachelors degreeFive or more (5+) years of related experienceExperience working in a DoD/IC defensive cyber operations (DCO) unitIf a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are requiredIf a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are requiredPreferred Qualifications:
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldRelevant industry standard certifications in areas such as CISSP, CEH or GCIHClearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with an active PolyPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.The projected compensation range for this position is $102,700.00-$170,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
