Job Description
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the company's accounting functions including performing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual duties, as well as developing policies and procedures. We are looking for a candidate who wants to take on a new endeavor, grow with the company, and own the accounting process for an expanding industrial equipment company! The Accounting Manager will report to the Vice President and be supported by the Group Controller.

Job Responsibilities
Accounts payable/accounts receivable oversightMonth end closing process, including all accruals, supporting documentation and schedulesGeneral ledger maintenance and adjusting journal entriesSupport the operations/purchasing depts with inventory and cost accounting mattersManage the company's fixed asset inventoryMaintain the company's cost center reporting data and structurePrepare requested data for annual financial review, global consolidation, tax returns & headquarters auditPreparation of monthly financial reports and other reportsPrimary contact for internal accounting related inquiriesOversee compliance related matters, including state and local taxOversight of accounting document filing systemSupport local parent company, as neededDesired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredMinimum of 5-7 of experience in an accounting or finance role preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgencyWell organized with an aptitude for detailsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and produce quality results under pressureProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Must be self-started and able to work independently with little supervisionPreference will be given to those candidates with knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and experience in a manufacturing environment
