We are seeking an experienced
Transportation Project Manager
to join our dynamic team in
Kennebunk, ME . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of highway and roadway projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management : Lead and manage transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Planning & Design : Oversee the planning, design, and engineering of highway and roadway projects, including traffic studies, intersection improvements, highway reconstruction, roadway design, multi-modal projects and construction plans.Team Coordination : Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Client Relations : Maintain and build relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing regular project updates.Budget Management : Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting.Quality Assurance : Implement quality control and assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation design.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maine required (or ability to obtain reciprocity).Experience working with departments of transportation (DOT).Experience preparing proposals and project budgets.Strong project management and organizational skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Why You'll Love Working with Us:
