Job DescriptionDesigning, developing, implementing, and/or integrating IA and security systems and system components, including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments such as those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection and classification requirementsBuilding IA into systems deployed to operational environmentsAssisting architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Agency security policy and enterprise solutionsSupporting the building of security architecturesEnforcing the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architecturesAssessing and mitigating system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycleContributing to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, and certification and awareness activities for system and networking operationsReviewing certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation and providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its contentApplying system security engineering expertise in one or more of the following:

This position requires active TOP SECRET/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance (which is granted only to U.S. citizens) and is contingent on successfully completing a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph and meeting customer requirements regarding TS/SCI eligibility.

Years Of Relevant Experience And Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline (Four (4)years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)10+ years or more of ISSE experience and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Benefits Wellness & Medical Benefits effective on your First Day of Employment

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in Colorado, is $70,000-$163,000.*

Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.Application window will remain open until qualified candidates have been identified.
