WAREHOUSE TECHNICIANReports to:
DIRECTOR OF PURCHASINGSupervises:Job Description:
To maintain, account for, disburse, inventory, order and generally be responsible for the warehoused supplies of the district.
Job Qualifications:Must obtain and maintain a AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, High School Graduate or GED, previous experience in warehousing and inventory or the exhibited desire and ability to perform the required duties. Fluency in writing, speaking and reading English required (Spanish is an advantage). A valid State of Arizona Drivers License is required. A forklift operator certificate is preferred. A CDL License is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist warehouse technician to maintain, keep orderly and inventoried and generally keep in good and safe condition the classroom and staff supplies in the district warehouse.Receive supplies and goods delivered to the district following district procedures and state and federal guidelines.Receive and process staff requests for supplies in a timely manner.Deliver all supplies and goods to all schools and sites.File warehouse documents.Assist in the implementation of a computerized system of maintaining the warehouse, its products and the system of ordering, delivery and inventory.Work independently and in groups and be a self-starter.Assist in safety programs, drills and evacuation proceedings as required.Attend classes, in-services and seminars as needed to improve knowledge and skills and to keep current with the latest in services, equipment, materials and functions as they pertain to the district's needs.Perform duties and assignments and use materials and operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner, using safety equipment or clothing which might be reasonable to ensure the safety of self, fellow employees and students.Perform emergency tasks as needed and directed.Assume responsibility for and secure the district assigned keys which are assigned to you for your job use and safekeeping.Listen to, understand and carry out oral and written instructions and directives, and respond with oral and written reports as required.Maintain good personal cleanliness and dress appropriately for the position.Practice good public relations techniques with students, staff, administration and parents, demonstrating a cordial and friendly manner.Work efficiently and cooperatively with other staff members.Practice regular and consistent attendance, arriving and departing at the designated times for your position.Refrain from the use of inappropriate, obscene or foul language.Maintain in good condition and store for safekeeping property, supplies and materials of the district.Maintain district security by locking doors and gates for which you are responsible, being on campus only during reasonable hours, and reporting to the Head Custodian, Director of Maintenance, Business Manager or Superintendent any problems with locks, lighting, windows, utilities, etc.Assist in keeping the district campuses clean and orderly.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Procurement & Distribution

Terms of Employment
12 month position, 260 days
Base Salary : $18.67/hr
12 days sick/personal leave (after 90 day probation)
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance benefits (after 60 day probation)
Participation in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS)
