Requirements of the
Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development :
Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & supervisory skills in a long-term care settingMust have knowledge of state and federal regulationsMust successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.Responsibilities of the
Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development :
Participate in planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes for CNAs/GNAs and any other nursing personnel that provide instructions on "how to do the job," and ensure a well-educated nursing service department.Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.Assist in training department personnel in identifying tasks that involve potential exposure to blood or body fluids.
