The Technical Project Manager is results-driven and has the initiative to work until the job is complete. This person will be responsible for the successful delivery of technology projects. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and project management skills, along with a keen ability to understand technology principles and agile delivery. Also important is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships within business and technology groups and interact with diverse stakeholders and partners.
The salary range for this position is
$85,000 to $100,000 per year.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the labor cost in that location.Duties and responsibilities
Manage technology project delivery from planning to execution ensuring it meets user requirementsAct as main communication liaison with external vendors for the technical integration with Tilebar.com or to address any issues that arise.Assist, when needed, in implementing basic front-end software updates like HTML and CSS changesGather, evaluate, and document business needs and requirements translate these into functional specifications, and assist in developing technical approaches.Document, address, and troubleshoot issues reported by users proactively identify and manage issues and dependencies, and manage and work with technical teams to resolve user issues.Work with leadership to intake and prioritize project initiatives, understanding scope, timelines, and constraints; manage and own a master project calendarCoordinate and participate in architectural and engineering discovery sessions to create alignment and provide visibility to level of effortUtilize enterprise project management tools such as JIRA, and other applications to provide project status and reporting, while adhering to PMO processes, documentation standards, and best practicesProvide clear and consistent communication of project status with project sponsors and stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor's Degree (engineering or computer science)Magento or Shopify experienceKnowledge of technology concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience in e-commerce project management in addition to full systems lifecycleExceptional communication skillsAbility to take technology discussions and break them down for non-technical groupsProject Planning & Task ManagementStrong organizational skills and time managementGood sense of web design especially with e-commerce websitesExperience managing technology-focused project delivery identifying scope, building an effective plan, and executing to completionWorking knowledge of PM and tech working platforms such as JIRA, and othersStrong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate and influence team members from multiple internal departments and external vendorsProven ability to work with global teams with diverse backgrounds, business objectives, and time zone constraintsAbility and desire to continually learn about new technologies, and project management methodologies, and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs.
