Description
- Supervise product engineers responsible for product development applications- Coordinate group workload to meet all Program and PDT requirements- Support PDT's meetings- Mentor and coach employees- Support budget needs as required (spending/revenue tracking)- Support cost savings initiatives as required- Ensure PDP Design / Engineering deliverables are met to schedule- Ensure prototype requirements are achieved- Support business pursuit with quote deliverables and technical reviews- Ensure support plans and activities identified and executed for program launches at Inteva operations and customer locations- Effectively communicate project status to PDT and Manager
Position Requirements
- Minimum seven (7) years experience with interior product design and engineering- Expert understanding of the product development process- Proven ability to work in a team environment, as an active team member, group facilitator and a leader- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under demanding situations- Effective problem solving skills- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and injection molding and soft trim forming technologies- Ability to travel- Proficient in MS Office Programs - including MS Project- High degree of self-motivation and self-direction- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills- Prior supervisory experience in a technical environment- Multiple interior partition product or manufacturing engineering experiences of complex modules (ex: IP, Cockpit, Door Pads, etc...)
