Salary and Benefits:

The salary range is $43,998 - $95,320 (salary will be pro-rated based on start date) depending on education/experience plus a generous benefit plan.

Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. We are directly to the East of Eugene, where the University of Oregon is located. We currently have approximately 10,000 students, over 1,400 staff members and over 600 teachers in our kindergarten through grade 12 school district. About the Position

Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Temporary, Full Time (1.0 FTE) Speech & Language Pathologist.

A current, valid certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP);A current, valid certification from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology;Ability to plan and teach special individualized programs for students with communication disorders;Ability to develop individualized educational plans (IEP's) for all identified students;Experience working positively with students with communication disorders;Positive and effective communication and collaboration skills desired;Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity;Demonstrated understanding of and responsiveness to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds that characterize a K-12 school community in a manner specific to the position;Spanish bilingual preferred.
