SET THE COURSE

This position ensures that Tommy Bahama store inventory levels are accurate and that inventory transactions in the stores are executed per the Retail Policy and Procedure Manual. Facilitates mid-year and year-end physical inventories for all full-price and outlet stores.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies with the retail stores' inventoryResearch negative units on hand to determine why style has a negative quantityResearch transfers, Automatic Shipment Notices (ASN) to ensure shipments are received and recorded timelyProvide guidance to store personnel to ensure adherence to required policies and proceduresVerify store transfers on a monthly basis.Verify that no transfers older than two weeks are outstanding at month end.Match PO receipts to shipping notices and research all receiving discrepancies.Coordinate mid-year and annual physical inventoriesPrepare retail inventory roll-forward at month-endPrepare miscellaneous inventory related journal entries at month-endMake cost adjustment for all shipments to CanadaAssist in other areas of Finance as needs ariseFacilitate mid-year and year-end physical inventories.ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

High school degree or GED.Degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred2-3 years previous inventory background.Retail experience a plus.2-3 years previous inventory background.Retail experience a plus. Knowledge of standard inventory control practices; cycle counts, physical inventories, etc.Data Entry experienceProficient with Microsoft Excel, WordStrong communication and relationship skills.Must be organized with attention to detail.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: $21.73 - 32.60 Hourly
