National Account Manager
is responsible for managing a large, high profile customer and works to improve MCC's market position and achieve financial growth. This position defines long-term, organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies new business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. They are responsible for meeting budget expectations and delivering YOY growth exceeding the market growth rates. The National Account Manager focuses on three main areas: Current Account Development, Client Retention, and Strategic Account Growth & Planning. This role is highly collaborative as it requires interaction with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff.

Farming within current customer base for potential new business.Navigating to Senior Leadership, other than purchasing, to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and strategic market objectives.Serve as liaison between MCC's Product Development team and the customer's engineering team.Participating in pricing the solution/service.Managing objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.Client Retention:
Present new, innovative products and services and enhance existing relationships.Work with technical staff, analytics group, marketing and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.Account Growth & Planning:
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.Administrative:
Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.Enter and manage data accurately within the company's CRM or other sales management systems.Forecast and exceed sales targets.Track and record activity on accounts within CRM.Qualifications:Preferred location in central or eastern time zone.Bachelor's Degree.5-7 years proven work experience in Sales; Sales/Account Management directly in printing, labels or flexible packaging is preferred.Proficient in CRM Software and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication and strategic negotiation skills.Travel up to 50%.Diversity & Inclusion:MCC fosters an inclusive culture that respects and embraces our teammates' diverse backgrounds and experiences, so that everyone can achieve their full potential here.
