Forklift Driver.
This position involves safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and moving materials on a work site. This job must be carried out in compliance with the OmniMax Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, OmniMax policies and procedures as well as all Federal, State, and Local laws.

Minimum 6 months of forklift driving experienceThe aptitude for processing paperwork.Regularly lift or move 25 lbs., frequently up to 40 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs.Strong knowledge of product identificationMaintain a positive customer service image during interactionsHigh level of accuracy in completing various job tasksAbility to develop and maintain supportive working relationships with colleaguesEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret safety rules, policies, and manualsBasic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsProblem-solving skills to handle varied situations with limited standardization and interpret diverse instructions in different formatsDuties and Responsibilities
Adhere to and promote the Company's safety rules and policies.Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area throughout the plant.Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives by volunteering for projects and promoting the company's safety program by following all regulations.Demonstrate strong product knowledge by accurately recognizing sizes, colors, and gauges.Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and free of debris on a daily basis.Perform cycle counts for inventory control in an accurate and timely manner.Read work orders or follow oral instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved and open containers as needed.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, machines, and shelves using manual and forklift methods, while rotating stock using a first-in, first-out system.Unload materials from vehicles.Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.Attach identifying tags or labels to materials, or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them together.Lift objects using manual, or power equipment as required.Complete daily service checks on all vehicles used and report any issues immediately.Operate industrial trucks and hand trucks safely and efficiently at all times.Education:
This position requires a high school/GED diploma, or the equivalent in work experience.
