The Facility Controller is a key leader on the Facility leadership team. Contributes to all areas of Facility management and provides strong financial leadership. The Facility Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating Facility budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the Facility and provide recommendations to improve site performance. Collaborates with Facility Manager and other leaders to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis

Ownership

Monitor and implement Facility internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risksReview and analyze various financial improvement initiatives including modeling and generating creative alternatives and recommendations for managing COGS, headcount, and related operational expensesDirect the preparation and analysis of the annual strategic plan, capital plan, monthly operating results, trends, capital projects and operating forecasts in order to meet facility objectivesAnalyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actionsMust work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve Facility or corporate objectivesShares best practices across finance team, e.g. process improvements, financial modeling and procedures changesProvides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisionsEnsures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirementsAct as financial business partner to our Operations & Supply Chain Teams.Invest in and is an example of Milo's Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.The position has Food Safety Responsibilities.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Must have a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field5-10 years related experienceStrong analytical skills and excellent communication skillsKnowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projectionStrong knowledge of US GAAPCost accounting experienceGood planning and organizational skills including experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
