Perform duties related to counting, picking, and distribution of low unit of measure (LUM) medical supplies to the nursing clean supply or PAR rooms within North Memorial Medical Center's Robbinsdale campus. May include distribution of equipment and furniture to customer care areas and ancillary departments

Accountabilities:Verifies, requisitions, and replenishes PAR inventory levels in nursing PAR areas while maintaining appropriate levels for daily operations.Prepares chargeable supplies for dispensing and distribution Identifies instruments, trays, and supplies needing restockingDelivers med/surg PAR supplies according to their priority. Accepts and fills verbal, phone, EPIC, and Hand Held Terminal requests. Keeps assigned PAR areas clean and organized according to bin locations (Distribution).Prepares mobile medical equipment for use on relief shift.Verifies package integrity and removes or replaces damaged or expired items.Checks in stock and non-stock items, reports discrepancies.Performs cycle counts as requested.Verify product expiration dates and rotates products to prevent outdating.Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS1+ Years of Experience in inventory control - Required (preferably in a healthcare setting)Medical terminology experience - PreferredHigh School graduate or equivalent - RequiredProfile Requirements:Work history2 Supervisory References with dates employed listedIf a candidate is not eligible to work in the USA, it must be noted on their profileALL RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal, NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittalABOUT THE FACILITYAt North Memorial Health you will be a valuable member of our inclusive and nurturing team that values professional growth, offering big benefits like tuition reimbursement and a supportive culture with a world of education and training opportunities.Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 25 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties.
