Job Summary
This position is a direct report to the Sr IT Program Manager and has sound knowledge of business processes in the specific area of technology enablement. The Principal Business Systems Analyst is responsible for business systems related fields and how they align with user needs. Documents requirements, establishes scope, objectives and determines strategy for implementing systems related fields to achieve business goals including: gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.
Job Responsibilities
In that capacity, this position is responsible for the following:• Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements. Own and develop day to day relationship with business partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration as well as establish a deep understanding of our customers' business and functional needs. Provide product expertise in regards to functional needs and processes• Work on analytical projects which may include continuous improvement projects; data extraction; technical / financial review and analysis; compiling, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics toward achievement of scorecard targets; reviewing and revising documentation, preparation of presentations, other ad-hoc assignments• Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization. Contribute to the strategic vision/plans and identify process enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape• Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations• Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing business needs.• Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT, including leading the introduction of best practice.• Collaborates with Finance to define cost allocation, cost recovery and pricing plan within the overall context of show back, chargeback or pricing model for a product.• Oversees compliance with cost, schedule, and budget. Analyzes performance dashboards and scorecards to quantify and measure outcomes and identify persistent problems.• Develops reporting/dashboards to provide portfolio visibility to business management.• Develops reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets
Job Specific Qualifications
