The Role

Provable is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong cloud expertise to lead our expansion into Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as part of our multi-cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly GCP, while being able to work effectively across cloud platforms. We're looking for someone who can establish our GCP presence while collaborating with our existing AWS infrastructure and AWS focused teams. A strong preference for candidates who are crypto native, possessing an understanding of blockchain technology and its ecosystem.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and establish our GCP infrastructure presence as part of our multi-cloud strategyDesign and implement cloud architecture with a focus on GCP best practices while ensuring seamless integration with existing AWS infrastructureEstablish and document cloud infrastructure standards and practices for GCP deploymentOversee the provisioning, operation, and management of cloud infrastructure across platformsImplement unified monitoring solutions across cloud providers to ensure high availability and performanceDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for multi-cloud deploymentsProvide level 2 on-call technical support outside of regular business hoursTrain and mentor team members on GCP services and best practicesCollaborate with the Security Specialist to ensure consistent security practices across cloud platformsPerform cost optimization analysis and implement FinOps practices across cloud providersStay current with cloud technology trends and evaluate new services that could benefit our infrastructureWork effectively with cloud partners across platforms to ensure optimal service deliveryWhat We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on GCP experienceExperience in multi-cloud environments and understanding of different cloud providers' strengthsExpert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly TerraformStrong background in automation using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, and GitHub workflowsExperience in implementing and managing monitoring solutions across cloud platformsProven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring team membersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially under pressureExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical conceptsDeep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirementsPreferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Professional Architect certificationExperience with blockchain infrastructure deployment and managementMulti-cloud architecture experienceExperience working with both AWS and GCP in production environmentsStrong foundation in blockchain concepts and, ideally, experience with blockchain projectsBenefits
