POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Finished Goods Inventory Control Manager, this position plans and controls distribution activities of finished product inventory. This role involves coordinating the day-to-day execution of the finished goods distribution network.

Primary Responsibilities include:Review and analyze finished product distribution demand to meet or exceed desired service levelsCreate, edit, track, and process shipments and receipts of distribution orders for internal and external locationsIdentify out of stocks for DRP items and communicate the reason, orders affected, and back-in-stock date to Customer ServiceDrive accountability in case of any order delays and ensure all relevant parameters within MRP are updatedCoordinate with Production Planning on product availability to replenish stocking targetsCommunicate supply changes or deviations from plan and provide potential resolutions to managementReview and recommend improvements to current product distribution parametersResponsible for continuous analysis of demand fluctuation and product availability to fulfill customer demandWork collaboratively with 3PL providers and distribution centers to manage the cost impact of movementsAdhere to improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer serviceDrive continuous improvement projects to reduce process inefficienciesSupport Production Planning as a backupPlan and complete assigned tasks within deadlinesPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred or 1-3 years of related experienceStrong organization skills and attention to detailResults driven with excellent communication and problem-solving skillsProven experience analyzing data and getting measurable results from that analysisDemonstrated ability to use technology and maintain databases effectivelyAdvanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.Good knowledge of MRPAbility to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing demands and prioritiesPossess excellent written communication skills for reports and presentationsProfessionalism to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple levels of the organization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting.

FREQUENT:

sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking and standing,

OCCASIONAL:

squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals.

VISION:

Ability to see close objects i.e. computers for long periods of time with or without correction.

HEARING:

Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
