Sales Tax Supervisor
Position Overview:Responsible for supervising the sales & use tax compliance function, including property tax, unclaimed property, and licensing. Oversees and participates in the completion of accurate tax returns in order to keep the company compliant with all filing obligations. Supervises the sales & use tax accounting staff and reports to the Sales Tax Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review of monthly sales & use tax returns for states and citiesResearch and consult on various sales tax mattersDirect and manage sales & use tax audits across multiple jurisdictionsOversee maintenance of tax exemptions.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in accountingSupervisory experienceThree or more years experience in multi-state sales and use taxExperience filing multistate sales & use tax returnsExperience coordinating sales & use tax auditsExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with staff, management, outside consultants, and taxing authoritiesAbility to work well with cross-functional teams within the companyStrong problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task and possess a strong sense of urgency in meeting government filing deadlines.Benefits include:
