Job Description:
The Crave AI and Data Analytics (AIDA) FP&A Associate Manager plays a critical role in driving the overall Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for the fast-growing Yum! Digital & Technology (D&T) business unit. The Associate Manager will partner with and support the AIDA FP&A Senior Manager to steward the investment of Yum's new AI platform as it transforms into a major strategic program that will advance our data analytics capabilities including the development of new AI features to all brands and markets accelerating the rate of innovation and AI adoption.
This role will also manage various workstreams within the Yum Data Analytics (DA) organization from a financial planning and analysis perspective as it develops critical data infrastructure and governance to accelerate and scale initiatives quickly across brands and YUM with comprehensive operational and customer data.
Responsibilities:Own, develop and maintain the compilation and communication of various robust monthly financial reporting packages to AIDA and other Yum Digital & Technology leadership teamsServe as a financial partner to the strategy for AI initiatives, supporting decisions at a management levelPartner with senior management with creating and maintaining various financial planning & analysis activities throughout the year, including the AIDA AOP and quarterly forecastsSupport AI strategy setting by supporting the creation of various AI use case investment profiles, business cases and other deliverables used by leadership for decision making and risk analysisOwn and facilitate the creation of capital expenditure requests for the AIDA teams while seeing the process through from start to finishOwn the creation and maintenance of the financial forecast model that governs all short and long-range planning for Yum! D&T AIDASupport the establishment, tracking, and automation of Yum! Digital and Technology KPIs for the AIDA organization ensuring alignment with strategic goalsCollaborate with cross-functional partners to develop business cases, improve governance/processes, and find ways to generate efficiencies for the teamDevelop and maintain governance processes to ensure that costs are appropriately cross-charged out as per the budgetMaintain oversight of posting to the general ledger and perform P&L review on a cyclical basisMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field5-7 + years experience in Finance or AccountingProficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance on assignmentsPreferred Requirements:
Experience supporting financial transformation initiatives in a technology-focused environment.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsDemonstrated success in collaborating with teamsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance on assignmentsSelf-motivated and detailed oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to leverage internal and external relationships with internal Control, Accounting, Finance and other functions to accomplish job responsibilities and goalsExperience in QSR, technology, or retail organizationKnowledge of accounting concepts and internal controls, including US GAAP and SEC regulations
Salary Range: $107,700 to $135,000 annually + bonus eligibility.
This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
