OverviewThe Project Manager for SYNERGY: the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSA) at Dartmouth is responsible for management and successful execution of various projects designed to grow the clinical and translational research enterprise at Dartmouth Health, Dartmouth College, the White River Junction Veterans Hospital and affiliated institutions. This role involves managing multiple projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, reporting to SYNERGY leadership in a matrixed fashion, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with the SYNERGY leadership team, the CTSA national network, and other institutional partners to drive program goals and strategies. This position also assists with the conduct of research initiatives and management of related activities.

Responsibilities

Execute SYNERGY objectives, policies, procedures, and programs.Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.Ensure projects adhere to deadlines, timelines, and deliverables.Represent SYNERGY in project and strategy meetings.Provide oversight and management of resources allocated to projects.Assist with curation of the SYNERGY website, including collaboration with graphic designers and local investigators to incorporate user-centered design in website upgrades.Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of a biweekly newsletter describing SYNERGY news, trainings, pilot grants, and related activities.Manage SYNERGY's social media accounts.Participate in weekly SYNERGY team meetings, providing updates on ongoing tasks.Regularly report progress and key information to the Senior Project Manager and Administrative Director.Assist the Senior Project Manager with the development and launch of the Dartmouth Journal of Healthcare Delivery Science.Work with the Senior Project Manager to coordinate activities with module and element leaders.Assist in the preparation of lectures, presentations, and posters by SYNERGY leadership and investigators at annual meetings of the CTSA network and the Association of Clinical and Translational Science.Manage dissemination and implementation project plans for SYNERGY initiatives.Assist the directors of SYNERGY's community and stakeholder-engagement, workforce development, and pilot program modules in relevant activities.Assist the Senior Project Manager in preparing progress reports on SYNERGY-related work.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and performance metrics, to assist SYNERGY's Director of Evaluation.Assist the Senior Project Manager with basic tasks and supporting investigators in accessing SYNERGY resources.Coordinate activities of the Hub Liaison Team.Serve as the second point of contact with colleagues at SYNERGY's partnering and collaborating institutions.Organize and attend weekly meetings related to SYNERGY's Steering Committee, keep minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in project management.Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.Strong analytical problem solving skills with demonstrated skills to define scope and analyze complex, cross-functional problems and processes.Basic knowledge in research evaluation design and descriptive statistics.Excellent communication, organizational, decision making and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent writing skills and experience in scientific writing and presentations.Must be skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
