As a Speech-Language Pathologist with The Menta Group, you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance in accordance with the students' IEP's.

Responsibilities
Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration & emotional upset.Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.Provide Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.Compensated Intrastate Travel Required>
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university program.Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPRClinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.>

About Menta Academy Midway
Menta Academy Midway promotes independence in students by creating a learning environment that fosters individualization and planning. The program provides support for English and non-English speaking children with disabilities by focusing on the whole child in their native language. Collaborative and data-based problem-solving approaches are utilized to develop appropriate interventions and progress monitoring.
The classrooms integrate evidence-based strategies from the Structured Teaching Model developed by Division TEACCH, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, communication systems, and sensory supports are thoughtfully integrated to optimize student success.
Midway serves students in grades K-12 and those transitioning from school to life ages 18-21. Disabilities served include autism, emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, and multiple disabilities.
